# Form does not appear in the Forms catalogue, or its pages are missing from the responses table

**What you are seeing**

My form does not appear in the Forms catalogue, or its pages are missing from the responses table.

## Why it happens

There are at least six distinct causes and the product gives no diagnostic. Roughly in order of likelihood: (1) the fields are Input macros placed OUTSIDE a Form container, which are never indexed; (2) Confluence has not indexed the content property yet, so a form saved seconds ago is genuinely not searchable; (3) the page's forms exceeded the 28,000-character index cap and whole forms were dropped; (4) the label write failed silently, so the label-based lookup finds nothing; (5) the site is unlicensed or the licence expired, in which case no background indexing runs at all; (6) the page is a new blog post, or was copied or moved rather than edited, so no re-index fired.

## What to do

First confirm the fields really are inside the Form container's body, not merely near it. Then edit and re-save the page to force a re-index, and wait a few minutes for Confluence search to catch up - the empty state says "No pages have been indexed with form ... Yet." If a page carries a very large form, split it across pages. Check the licence is active. If the page was copied or moved, open it and make any edit to trigger indexing.

## A few things that catch people out

* The Forms search panel is flag-only: Advanced edition does NOT restore it, unlike the nav item.
* Option colours, per-option descriptions, Allow multiple selections, number Minimum/Maximum, Allow decimals and the character-length settings live only in the bespoke config panel, so they will not appear in any generic macro-parameter rendering.
