Learn how to ask others users for approval on a Confluence page

Obtaining approval for your Confluence content is now more straightforward than ever with Capable Approval. This guide will show you how to solicit feedback—be it rejection, approval, or comments— from your teammates and how to notify them through their preferred method, whether Slack or email.

Step-by-step

Alternatively, follow the steps below to open the Capable app on a Confluence page:

1. Click on Capable at the top of your page

2. Click on Approval

This will open the Approval capability and load the current status.

3. Add users from the suggestions or from the search box

We provide recommendations, but you can also search for users.

4. Click on Settings button to change the approval options

This allows you to change the configuration of the approval.

5. Change the quorum and expiration options

6. Click Back to return to user selection screen

7. Click on Send Approvals, this will send notifications to the selected users

8. You will now be shown the status panel
