# Turn off AI diagramming in Confluence To turn off AI diagramming in Confluence, a Confluence administrator opens the Capable app's settings in Confluence administration, selects the **Features** tab and switches off **AI integrations**. Generating diagrams from a description and asking AI about a diagram then disappear for every user. All diagram languages and editors keep working. --- ## Before you start * You are a Confluence administrator. * The setting is site-wide. There is no per-space or per-user AI switch. --- ## Steps 1. Open Confluence administration. 2. Open the app's settings page: **Capable**, or **Capable Diagrams** if you use the standalone app. 3. Select the **Features** tab. 4. Switch off **AI integrations**. --- ## What happens next * The AI buttons and screens are removed for everyone, including **Ask AI about this diagram**. * Diagrams made with AI earlier stay as they are. They are ordinary diagrams. * In the Capable suite, the switch turns off AI across all Capable features, not only diagrams. ## If it does not work * No **Features** tab or no **AI integrations** switch: you may be on Capable Diagrams (Zero Egress), which has no AI features to turn off. * The Capable agent in Rovo chat is part of Atlassian Rovo and is not removed by this switch. --- ## Related ### [Turn off AI features](https://help.gocapable.com/diagrams/turn-off-ai-features.html) What the switch covers. ### [AI and your diagram data](https://help.gocapable.com/diagrams/ai-and-your-diagram-data.html) What is sent to a model when AI is on. ### [Diagram settings overview](https://help.gocapable.com/diagrams/diagram-settings-overview.html) Where every diagram setting lives. --- _One switch, and the policy is met._
