# Replace viadee BPMN Modeler macros with Capable Diagrams in Confluence viadee's BPMN Modeler and DMN Modeler macros are not in the migration assistant, but you can bring each diagram across from its page. Edit the page, insert **Diagram (Capable)**, select **Import** and pick the diagram under **Diagrams from other apps**. Capable reads the BPMN or DMN XML from the page attachment and opens it as an editable diagram. --- ## Before you start | **You need** | **Why** | | ----------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | Edit permission on the page | You import while editing the page. | | The viadee macro and its attachment still on the page | Import reads the BPMN or DMN XML from the attachment the macro points at. | --- ## Steps 1. Edit the page that has the viadee macro and put the cursor next to it. 2. Type `/diagram` and choose **Diagram (Capable)**. 3. Under **Create**, select **Import**. Capable scans the page. 4. Under **Diagrams from other apps**, select the entry marked **BPMN Modeler (viadee)** or **DMN Modeler (viadee)**. A preview appears. 5. Select **Import**. The diagram opens in the BPMN or DMN editor. 6. Check it, give it a title and select **Save**. 7. Delete the viadee macro from the page and publish. --- ## What comes across * The BPMN 2.0 or DMN XML, at the published version the macro pinned. * The attachment is looked up on the current page first, then on the page the macro records, with and without the `.bpmn` or `.dmn` suffix. * The result is a normal Capable diagram: edit it, export it and comment on it like any other. --- ## If it does not work * An error such as **Could not read attachment**: the file is missing. Attach the .bpmn or .dmn file to the page (drop it on the **Import** view) and try again. * Nothing is listed under **Diagrams from other apps**: the page has no recognised diagram macro. Use **Re-scan this page**, or check you are editing the right page. * For a .bpmn file that is not on any page, drop it on the **Import** view. Capable attaches it to the page and lists it under **Page attachments**. --- ## Related ### [BPMN](https://help.gocapable.com/diagrams/bpmn.html) Business process diagrams in Capable. ### [BPMN editor](https://help.gocapable.com/diagrams/bpmn-editor.html) Where imported processes open. ### [DMN](https://help.gocapable.com/diagrams/dmn.html) Decision tables and requirements. ### [Import and export BPMN XML](https://help.gocapable.com/diagrams/import-and-export-bpmn-xml.html) Moving BPMN files in and out. ### [Migrate from other diagram apps](https://help.gocapable.com/diagrams/migrate-from-other-diagram-apps.html) Apps without a migrator. ### [Migrating diagrams](https://staging.dev.capable-sites.com/wiki/pages/1542718181) The Migrate to Capable guides for diagrams. --- _Same BPMN, now a Capable diagram._
