# Find and reuse

The second most common waste after redrawing is duplicating: the same architecture diagram pasted onto four pages, then updated on one.

**Copying a page copies its diagrams as new, independent diagrams.** That is usually what you want, but it is not reuse. If you need one source shown in several places, use a reference rather than a copy.
