# The Capable dashboard Home is the suite's own landing page. It collects widgets from whichever capabilities are installed and lays out a getting-started area, the approval inbox and the calendar view. ![The Capable dashboard open on the Home tab, with tabs for Search, Approval, Calendar, Diagrams, Github, Images, Macros, Markdown and Publishing, a Getting started row of cards, a list of recent approv](https://help.gocapable.com/images/cb715c02-f6f5-4e52-8b02-21672c233943.webp) Home gathers what is waiting for you, and the rest of the capabilities sit on the tabs across the top. ![The Capable dashboard open over a Confluence page, with a getting started strip, a list of recent approval requests and a month calendar.](https://help.gocapable.com/images/51de4a2e-682a-42fb-b990-45f30917501e.webp) Every installed capability contributes a widget, so recent approvals and dated pages sit on one screen. It is a suite feature: standalone apps have no equivalent. --- ## Four ways to open it ![The Confluence left navigation with the Apps section expanded, showing Capable under Your apps.](https://help.gocapable.com/images/c5becabb-9183-40ff-bbe9-d93574bbf786.webp) Capable is listed under Your apps in the Confluence navigation, which is the route most people take. * The Confluence top navigation, under Apps, then Capable. * The Home icon in the Capable byline header. * Directly, as a full page. * On a phone, via the QR code under Open on Mobile, which deep-links into the Atlassian mobile app. ⚠️ **Home's widgets are not filtered by hidden capabilities.** Hiding Approval or Calendar removes the navigation item, but its widget can still appear on Home. That is a known inconsistency rather than a setting you have missed. --- ## Opening on a phone Open on Mobile shows a QR code. Scanning it deep-links into the Atlassian mobile app rather than a browser, which is the difference between a usable phone experience and a frustrating one. --- ## A few things worth knowing ![The dashboard breadcrumb open, showing a search box and a list of spaces to scope the view to.](https://help.gocapable.com/images/c9899e1c-fb14-4e7a-9e38-569b5a473e6a.webp) The breadcrumb at the top switches the whole view between the site and a single space. * The dashboard opens as a full-screen overlay, and Escape and backdrop clicks are deliberately disabled on it. * Widgets come from installed capabilities, so a smaller install has a shorter Home. * Suite only. There is nothing like it in a standalone app. --- ## Related [The Capable bylineThe per-page equivalent.](https://help.gocapable.com/capable/the-capable-byline.html) [The command paletteJumping straight to something.](https://help.gocapable.com/capable/the-command-palette.html) [CapabilitiesWhat contributes a widget.](https://help.gocapable.com/capable/capabilities.html) --- _Everything, on one page._
