App Acquisition (2026/Q3)

Capable has entered into an agreement with Resolution to acquire a selection of Confluence Cloud apps. We are excited to continue supporting these products and the customers who rely on them, while bringing them into Capable’s wider app portfolio.

After completion, Capable will maintain the following apps included in the acquisition:

Once the apps are transferred, Capable's terms will govern your data and usage of the apps:

#New features and improvements

We have been preparing Forge upgrades for each app included in the transfer, with a focus on strengthening security, improving performance, and ensuring the apps remain aligned with Atlassian’s latest cloud platform standards.

Alongside this technical migration, we are taking the opportunity to make targeted product improvements that will make the apps easier to use and more valuable for Confluence teams. We will roll these updates out gradually, starting with Google Analytics for Confluence. The sections below outline the improvements planned for each app and include screenshots of the new Forge versions where available.

#Google Analytics for Confluence

Track page views, search queries, and user behaviour directly inside Confluence. View GA4 reports at the instance, space, or page level.

#Improved UI

We’ve redesigned the user interface to make Google Analytics for Confluence faster, clearer, and easier to navigate for both new and returning users. Users can customise columns and export data for deeper analysis.

#Search query analytics

See what your team is actually looking for. The new search queries report shows the most common searches across your Confluence instance, helping you spot gaps in documentation and improve discoverability.

#Embed analytics data into pages

You can now embed Google Analytics data directly into your Confluence pages, allowing you to view traffic and engagement stats alongside your content.

#Improved setup

The setup wizard and configuration screens have been redesigned to simplify extra tracking setup.

#Access controls for data visibility

Choose which users can view the analytics data.
