# Administration Twenty capabilities is a lot for one navigation bar, so the highest-value administrative act here is hiding the ones you do not use. One thing to know before you change anything: global settings has no Save button, and changes take up to a minute to reach other people. ⚠️ **Hiding a capability is a visibility change, not a functional one.** Its macros stay in Confluence's own insert menu and existing macros keep rendering. --- ## In this section [Hiding capabilitiesSwitch a capability off site-wide, or control it per space.
