# Subscribe to a Confluence calendar in Google Calendar or Outlook To subscribe to a Confluence calendar in Google Calendar or Outlook, open the saved calendar, click the **Subscribe to calendar** button (a calendar with a plus sign) and choose **Create subscription link**. Then click **Google**, **Outlook** or **Apple**, or copy the URL into your calendar app. Your app then keeps the events up to date for you. --- ## Before you start * You need to be signed in to Confluence and able to view the calendar. * Subscriptions work for saved calendars, not for a Calendar macro that only shows one page's dates. * A site administrator can turn subscriptions off. If the button is missing, ask them. --- ## Steps 1. Open the saved calendar on the Calendar page. 2. Click the **Subscribe to calendar** button in the calendar's header. 3. Click **Create subscription link**. 4. Click **Google**, **Outlook** or **Apple** to hand the link to that app, and confirm there. 5. If nothing opens, click the copy button beside the URL and paste it into your app's add-calendar-by-URL option. --- ## What happens next Your calendar app shows the events, and changes in Confluence usually reach it within 5 to 15 minutes. The link is personal: it stops working if you lose access to the calendar, and you can click **Revoke link** at any time. ⚠️ Treat the link like a password. Anyone who has it sees what you can see in that calendar until you revoke it. --- ## Related ### [Personal iCal subscription](https://help.gocapable.com/calendar/personal-ical-subscription.html) Subscription links in full. ### [Google Calendar, Apple Calendar and Outlook](https://help.gocapable.com/calendar/google-calendar-apple-calendar-and-outlook.html) App by app. ### [Feed freshness](https://help.gocapable.com/calendar/feed-freshness.html) How quickly changes reach the feed. ### [Syncing Confluence calendars with other calendar apps](https://help.gocapable.com/calendar/syncing-confluence-calendars-with-other-calendar-apps.html) More guides for other calendar apps. --- _Your Confluence events, in the calendar you already check._
