# Saved event editor

Events saved inside a calendar are authored in a modal with five tabs: Scheduling, Additional, Attendees, Linked content and Tags. Fields cover name and priority, description and colour, dates, attendees, content links, tags, which calendar it belongs to, and additional information.

## Where you do it

Below the fields, the times are restated in your own zone and in the event's, so a cross-country booking can be checked before it is saved.

Name, priority, colour and the date range sit above the tabs, and tags are chosen from the calendar's own list.

## Settings that affect this

Tags are defined once on the calendar, each with a colour, and their order sets their priority.

## Worth knowing

Opening a saved event shows its dates, attendees, linked content and tags read-only, with a download button that saves that one event as a file.

* Two documented behaviours are silent failures that must survive into published docs: the macro overflow menu's Export → iCal and CSV items do nothing at all, and selecting no event types shows all of them rather than none.
* The double-conversion bug in Event macro time formatting is a real defect, not designed behaviour. It should be written up as a known issue, not as expected output.
