# On a published Capable Site, an Event macro shows UTC times rather than the visitor's local times

On a published Capable Site, an Event macro shows UTC times rather than the visitor's local times.

## Why it happens

The macro's default Time zone means "the viewer's zone", and a static site is built with no viewer, so it falls back to UTC.

Set an explicit Time zone on any Event macro that will be exported to a site.
