# Export and published sites

Start from what you are seeing rather than from what you think is broken. Each page below names the symptom, explains why it happens, and says what to do about it.

Several of these are the product working as designed, which is worth knowing before anybody raises a ticket.

| Export → iCal and Export → CSV in the macro's "…" overflow menu do nothing when clicked              | Those two menu items in the macro's compact toolbar have no action wired to them. The same items on the full Calendar page do work.                                |
| On a published Capable Site, an Event macro shows UTC times rather than the visitor's local times    | The macro's default Time zone means "the viewer's zone", and a static site is built with no viewer, so it falls back to UTC.                                       |
| On a newly installed site the Subscribe panel says subscriptions "aren't available for this site yet | Subscriptions need the site's secure connection to Capable's service to be provisioned first. The panel says this activates automatically, usually within an hour. |
