We ensure that all participants are well-informed about the status of conference approvals through a series of automated notifications sent via email and/or Slack.

1. **Approval Requested**

  * **Description:** Sent when a new approval for a conference is requested.
  * **Purpose:** Alerts approvers that a decision is needed for a new conference proposal.
2. **Approval Requested Again**

  * **Description:** Sent if a conference approval is requested again after being initially ignored or not processed timely.
  * **Purpose:** Reminds approvers to make a decision on a conference proposal that requires attention.
3. **Approval Expired**

  * **Description:** Sent when the time frame to approve a conference has expired without a decision.
  * **Purpose:** Informs both requesters and approvers that the approval request has lapsed without action.
4. **Approval Approved**

  * **Description:** Sent when a conference has been approved.
  * **Purpose:** Notifies all relevant parties that the conference proposal has received the necessary approvals and will proceed.
5. **Approval Rejected**

  * **Description:** Sent if a conference proposal is rejected.
  * **Purpose:** Communicates to the requester and other stakeholders that the proposal has been declined.
6. **Approval Requested Added**

  * **Description:** Sent when additional approvers are added to an existing approval request.
  * **Purpose:** Informs new approvers that their input is required for a conference approval.
7. **Approval Responded Commented**

  * **Description:** Sent when a comment is added to a conference approval by any party.
  * **Purpose:** Keeps all stakeholders updated with ongoing discussions or clarifications related to the approval.
8. **Approval Responded**

  * **Description:** Sent when there is a response to a conference approval request, whether approved or rejected.
  * **Purpose:** Notifies the requester and all approvers of the latest status update on the conference proposal.
